| Kazaa + Trojan Anyone here install Kazaa(latest) and recieved a new file named dlder? If scanned using an anti-virus(NAV in my case) it shows up as a backdoor trojan. DLDER.exe would be the name I believe.

Well, the latest Kazaa version I have is 1.3 and it did not have that file nor set off my AV. Did it scan the file after it was downloaded or as you where running it? |

As I installed it. It's a .EXE file. Also, might want to check your startup manager, dlder sets its self as an automatic startup. I believe it runs, C:/WINNT/EXPLORER/EXPLORER.EXE

Kazaa is loaded with Spyware and yes, a trojan. I would recommend downloading Morpheus from Musiccity.com. It is the same technology and finds files from both Morpheus and Kazaa users. The best part though, is it has no trojans or spyware. Hope this helps! |

WinMX is also a very nice program, IMO. I pretty much use WinMX and Morpheus exclusively. I think that the interface for Limewire is too clunky and poorly designed, and of course, Kazaa is loaded down with spyware. |

Nope, I do not have either in my startup...if u want you can see what is trying to load before it does with this »www.tfi-technology.com/startstop.htm I use it on my computer. It helped me when I had to install Realplayer 8.0, I still hate realplayer but I have not found and alternate. |
