After the hurricane here DAYS after Comcast is still dead while the neighbor's dish service is fine. Great advertisement that dish goes down when there are clouds. Dish is up and Comcast down. Will I get a credit for the service I do not receive ? I am not looking forward on being on the phone for hours with our friends from India to get the credit. I will send them a registered letter and copy the city cable comission to it.
Ever since the hurricane passed, I have seen dozens of electric company trucks fixing things. Not even ONE, ONE ! Comcast repair crew. Zero. No service, no attempt to repair, either. -- Treason is a matter of dates |

Unfortunately cable companies have to wait in line behind the Electric Companies. Once the power companies issue the all clear then cable companies can start work on their lines.

Just because your street has power it does not mean that every part of the COMCAST infrastructure does.
I can assure you there are many people working their butts off to restore service to you. My advice would be to go to Dish
