1 edit | Are These 2 Files OK To Have Running?
I did a check using the FileResearchCenter.com and saw that I have the following 2 unrecognized files running.....ones is C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CNDNDLG.EXE and the other is C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\DLCXCOMS.EXE
I did a Google search on them and could not determine if they were ok...does anyone know? Thanks. -- "That Which Does Not Kill Me Makes Me Stronger"! |

1 edit | reply to Kayrac Thanks Kayrac....I used virustotal.com for both files, and both said 0/36, so I guess they are fine. I am very careful even opening an email, however, I opened one that was some kind of spam by mistake. The only things I noticed were when I tried to open Ad-Aware, it crashed the fist time. Then Gmail locked up on me and I had to sign out and sign in again. That's when I went to FileResearchCenter.com, and it showed those 2 files as being unrecognized. Do you think I am ok?
Oh, I tried looking at bleepingcomputer.com and could not find and answer. -- "That Which Does Not Kill Me Makes Me Stronger"! |

| Thanks Brian...I saw that one was a canon camera program.....However, even though I have a canon camera, I uninstalled all of the software some time ago and use XP to transfer pictures to my computer. Maybe it left that file. -- "That Which Does Not Kill Me Makes Me Stronger"! |

| Check your system log to see whether there is an error reported regarding that file. I have Canon software installed and there is always an error recorded in the log during boot since the camera is not connected. If you have not looked at the log, it's under Control Panel, Performance and Maintenance, Administrative Tools, Event Viewer. That's in Windows XP, however. |
