You say that like there is something wrong with that??? 
I see nothing ugly or wrong there. 
More antennas the better. My vehicle has 4 on mounted on it, and no I am not an amateur radio user. Most of the fleet has at least 3, GPS, 800MHz trunked, 4GHz PS, others have VHF & UHF as well.

Tubes in TV's, radio's and amplifiers that actually had NO IC's in them. Back in those days, 80 watts was good and clean....

I'm certainly old enough to remember cars with chokes. Since I was born and have lived in the US all my life I have never driven a car with the steering wheel on the right side ala British.

I think most people probably would since I do, even though I never have had a car which uses a carburetor as my oldest care was a 1978 280Z and even that was fuel injected.
