| Software to manage backup to ext drive?
I would setup RAID but unfortunately I don't have any more HD slot on my PC. So the next best thing is to backup on a ext HD. I was wondering if there are any programs that will assist me in this. Is there a program that will copy just new files over to the ext HD? Something like incremental in Acronis? |

| AMF,
Here is an interesting article of why using RAID is not as good a backup strategy as is using regular backup software:

Yes, there are a number of programs that will do incremental backups, like Acronis. If you have Acronis, why not use that? There are a number of posts on this forum that name backup programs. Just do a search.

Paste into notepad, save as backup.bat
Add backup.bat to scheduled tasks. |
