Whats to the ground if may ask? I did some pvp last night after the patch came out and i noticed alot of diffrence but as far as the QQ goes people are still geting owned by us and their still not happy about the nerf. Well WTF!?!?!

My resto druid and I went up agains a mage priest last night and i got a tell you that mage was good he disabled me in mater of seconds. Spell stole all of my shit wings, hand of freedom and all of my seals that i put up not too mention with all the mana regen that got taken away with this nerf the priest mana burned me to the ground in 3 casts.

WTF IS ALL THE QQ ABOUT NOW! I am pissed gona right all the QQ about mages and rogues now! Mage/Rogue forums here i come!

Well sure i can take on 2 people at same time depending on their class and a moment of surprise but there is no way you can take a CC/healer at same time no mater how OP Ret can be you still only have anywhere from 10-12k HP which isnt that difficult to down for a caster or even that same stun lock rogue. This is the same thing as everyone have been talking about play on you're own lvl of skill. Its not like you gona Q into an arena match and go up agains 2k rated team and manage to win even if they were running a do or die comp like 2 mages or mage/rogue. Seems really easy when you talk about it but in reality its nearly impossible because they will control you 99% of the time.

I was S1 gladiator on my mage and my partner for 2v2 was another mage that we just kind of mess around with. We dicided to just run some 2s as both frost we hit about 2071 before we decided to call it quits but there wasnt many teams like youre standard war/duid comp that could beat us. On another hand that was good 2 years ago now lets QQ more about Ret back on topic.

I've seen plenty of ret pallies take 2 on at a time. Their survivability is good while their burst is still great. A warlock has to fear one off rather than let one beat on you.

There are some classes that aren't viable to kill 2 classes, and that's true, but I don't see any kind of fair way to allow a resto druid to kill 2 people.

Plenty of classes can do the same thing, provided they have skill.

I'm OK with a class being powerful provided the person playing knows what they're doing. A perfect example of this NOT BEING the case was (still is to a degree) ret pallies.

Any class should be dangerous when played by a skilled player. Does anyone here disagree with that statement?

You must be new to 3.0.

No one things Locks are over powered now.
I think chain fears were OP and still OP now. Locks can manage a 2 man fight just like the mages but its not a FACEROLL anymore they must have their PvP skill.

Now i am no master of Arena but i have been playing this game long enough to undestand the mechanics of other classes do's and dont's but thats not why i am here trying to shine some ligh on you lil boys and girls that are running in fear when they see a Ret paladin in distance.

In any comp agains a ret pally you just got a have some ballz and CC skills to make that paly bubble and surive his shield and then its cake really for anyone to murder me in 5-8 secs time. Which has been done many times last night by alot of diffrent comps mainly CC comps. That just proves the point of where we cant be OP in all the situations and specially the ones that can heal agains that dmg i do while i am running out of mana.

Oh and one last thing before i go. I just want it to say that blizz hot fixed things allready and i dont think there gona put much work into fixing the 70 class before the wrath goes live since were back where we started prior to 3.0 but only with some burst dmg left to take away with that stun so i dont see how it can be that dificult for folks that PvP now a days on higher scale to be able to defeat Ret with out even putting much skill to it.

to be fair, rogues are hitting 6-7k ambushes on 400+ resil clothies all day long. Not a whole lot of reason to stunlock when you can take over 50% of your opponents health off in your opener.
7k ambush? No. 4k maybe in PvE gear.

It doesn't matter that the battle isn't won in 5, 10, 15, or even 20 seconds, it's the fact that you can stun lock a person from 100-0. CC in pvp should be non existent. Fears, cyclones, roots, and stuns should all be gone imho. The argument and crying is about stunned from 100-0 with paladins. They aren't doing anything different than rogues besides the 100-0 is a little faster.
It does matter. Its not a little faster, its 2-3 times faster. The stun as it stands at 50 second CD (its much worse when they can stun you for 6 seconds every 20) isn't the root of the issue so nerfing the stun will not solve the problem. The problem as already been determined by blizz is the amount of burst damage they can put out while their victim is stunned, which is why that aspect was nerfed. No one is really complaining about ret pally's 1v1 in duels, people are complaining because in BGs/arenas, they just roll through people. A rogue pulling off a full 100-0 stunlock or a warlock pulling off a 100-0 fear in a crowded area is not something you see everyday, even in pug BGs someone is bound to interrupt their long chain in which everything has to go correctly. A pally blowing someone up in 1 hammer happens about every 50 seconds per pally.

ret pallys just needa be scaled thats all all classes are OP if you iknow how to use them atm....the talents are made for WoTLK lvl 80 course they are going to be OP at 70 its like TBC talents at 60....

People hated the Pally power so much that they forgot to complain about the rogues.

lol, I have been given a drive by paladins before, 430 resilance, 13k health lock. The only way you survive is if you trinket out of the first stun and run while throwing COE over your back, even then if he bubbles and catches you, you are dead while he is immune in a matter of seconds.
