DC Project: SETI@Home

SETI@Home

David Gedye, along with Craig Kasnoff, conceived the idea for SETI@Home (SAH for short) and formed the initial project team. Run by University of Berkeley, their [website] says:

SETI@home is a scientific experiment that uses Internet-connected computers in the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence (SETI). You can participate by running a free program that downloads and analyzes radio telescope data.

The goal is to find an extraterrestrial signal.

This all sounds very interesting and exciting right? And now you want to join the project, right? Well, where do you go from here? Let us cover that now. Each of the projects has a team here at DSL Reports. This project is sponsored by:

Team Starfire

Founded by 72245156 See Profile who co-hosts with klambert See Profile and FutureMon See Profile, the team has their own [forum].

Once again, come and join us, you'll be glad you did. You need not join this team but still join this project on your own, or you can join any or all of the teams.

The choice is yours.
