I hit your September total on the tenth day of the month. By the end of the month I had 2.5 times that total. And I am nowhere near the top of the stack. |

And so now the house of cards begins to fall. It seems most of the major ISPs are now either doing it or talking about it. |

| reply to seropith If they really are going to put the cap at 150GB, i will be switching to Comcast for there 250GB cap. And on top of it, i will be getting faster speeds, but if i do, i will miss my 20ms pings to chicago and dallas |

JLT join:2003-10-01 Brownsville, TX | The 150GB is for 10Mbps users. I have 3.0Mbps with 3 computers and was thinking about adding a PS3. If the same 150GB cap for the 10Mbps applies, then I think I'll be fine. If its lower, then it might be time to start looking elsewhere. |

| The 150 GB cap is for the highest tier. The caps are variable, per tier; don't expect the Pro tier (3.0 mb/s) to be over 100 GB.
I was definitely sliding under 100 GB before we got the DirecTV HR-21; but I don't know how using the VOD system will impact my B/W usage. -- Norman ~Oh Lord, why have you come ~To Konnyu, with the Lion and the Drum |

Customers who subscribe to AT&T High Speed Internet on or after November 1, 2008: AT&T High Speed Internet customers in Carson City, Churchill, Douglas, Esmeralda, Eureka, Humboldt, Lander, Lyon, Mineral, Northern Nye, Pershing, Storey, or Washoe counties in Nevada who subscribe to Service on or after November 1, 2008, will have a monthly bandwidth usage allowance based upon the plan purchased as outlined below.
Basic: 20 GB/mo. Express: 40 GB/mo. Pro: 60 GB/mo. Elite: 80 GB/mo.
Customers who exceed usage in a given month, must pay $1.00 per Gigabyte (GB) in excess of the usage allowance. For example, customers who subscribe to AT&T High Speed Internet Basic (20 GB/mo. usage allowance) and use 24 GB in one month, will be charged an additional $4.00 for that month. Customers are responsible for all broadband usage that originates or terminates at the address associated with their account. Any charges for exceeding the usage allowance within a given month will appear on the Internet page of the next bill and be identified as Internet Usage. Usage information is based on the calendar month and not on the billing period. Charges for partial GBs will be rounded up.
AT&T will notify customers when they reach 80% of their monthly usage allowance. In addition, customers may check their usage anytime at »broadband-usage.att.com.
Note: You may cancel your high-speed Internet service at no charge within the first thirty days after you order service. »bellsouth.com/consumer/inetsrvcs···ial.html -- TinFoilers UFO Union of America!! TinFoilers UFO Union Local 101... |
