I'll take it...

Even if it is only 5-10 mbps upstream, I'll take a connection so fast that no servers can get the content to me at that rate

Too bad I'm in Comcrap's service area...

just be happy your in a service area, 40% of the population has no high-speed access available. i dont think comcast is so bad anyway, so what if they have a 250 gig cap.. whos gonna hit that?!?

If you do backups, you get an external hard drive, 'cuz you're goig to hit it if you back up online.

Also I almost know what "no access" is like; back home it's 512/??? wireless where latency goes crazy sometimes.

And the number where high speed isn't available: less than 40%. There's HughesNet\WildBlue.

Interesting who's saying this too...the person who has reviewed FiOS, Service Electric, Embarq and VZW...

I'll gladly take it, too, but I'm wondering how much more it will cost compared to Comcast's new 50Mbps down/10Mbps up tier. I would also have to get a new modem as well.

What I'm also wondering is when and if Insight decides to implement this 100Mbps tier, would they get rid of the 10Mbps service which I'm currently on, and upgrade everyone to the 20Mbps tier, or keep it as it is now?
