Does anyone have an address to a parking deck in Cin city Ohio where I can park 24/7 that has a view of the entire city skyline??
I'm going there soon and I want to snap some pics of my car with the city skyline. |

| Might find something in Mt. Adams.. There is a parking garage there and Mt. Adams is actually above the city, but I don't know if there is a view from the garage. There are good views across the river as well, although not via a parking deck. There are roads along the river in Covington, and there's actually a park on a hill called Devou park. I may actually have taken a picture of my car up there with the city in the background... been awhile. -- I Smell Cures! -- Our Hope |

| reply to Newegg Your car with the skyline? That's going to be rather difficult considering the differences in scale. Your best bet is to try parking at Newport's Riverboat Row, but depending on the day of the week and the time of day there may be a charge. They may also kick you out if you don't visit the restaurants down there.
Another option is the old Covington Landing: »maps.google.com/maps?ie=UTF8&hl=···t=h&z=18
The riverboats you see in the satellite picture aren't there anymore and it's a relatively clear view of downtown.
Devou Park in Covington may work, so might Mt. Echo Park in Price Hill. Just don't be anywhere near either park once it starts getting dark. Especially Mt. Echo Park; however, Mt. Echo does have a particularly appropriate traffic circle that overlooks downtown. |

Where exactly do I park so I can snap some pics. Where that parking area is near the bridge?
Devou park looks like a winner. »www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t···&page=16

1 edit | Here's a pic of the Roebling bridge »en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:John···idge.jpg (Cinci's version of the Brooklyn Bridge). The picture is taken from Cinci into Kentucky. You can see there is parking there on either side. Might be a good place to get a nice looking bridge in the picture as well. -- I Smell Cures! -- Our Hope |

1 edit | reply to Newegg That traffic circle right there at the landing is very low-traffic. When I worked for a caterer I'd park my van down there for an hour or more whilst I delivered food to the offices in the area. With some patience you would be rewarded with some interesting foreground and background from that point, as the landing itself has some interesting signage. Not to mention the river at that angle.
[edit]I also can't see your linked pics. Could you attach them to the thread? |

| Your second location should be great this time of year. With it being Winter there shouldn't be much smog or haze in the air and you'll have a nice clean shot. Check out this DI Forum post of mine. The second photo in the post is from that location.
In your first selection you're awfully close to the bridge. There is also quite a bit of construction going on down there right now in that area between the two stadiums. I still think you'd be better off at Covington Landing for a picture with the Roebling Bridge. In fact, I think you should try both. |
