Remember, with FiOS, phone calls use the fiber data connection (ip) just like Internet access.
regular FiOS phone service is not IP, its POTS.

FiOS Digital Voice is the new voip product - not yet available.

Attached is the TOS for FIOS Digital Voice. Unlimited is $44.95/month, no mention of bundling in the TOS. $9.99/month each additional line.

Too expensive. ATT tried $40, and had to lower the price.

I can't imagine paying $40/mo for a landline anymore.

I pay a little over $8/mo after taxes for Vonage phone service, which includes free incoming and 0.038/minute for outgoing. Most of my outgoing is on a cell.

But if it's in a bundle it's worth it.

What!!

I ony have 3 lines to my house, from the telephone pole. The Fios, Power, and that water thing. So How could I have POTS if there is only three lines? And I'm sure I don't have the VOIP thing

Voice has its own (shared with internet) pair of wavelengths on the fiber. It's like you have a dedicated fiber connection to the CO for your phone service - the internet is not involved. The ONT simply decodes/encodes the POTS inside your house from/to the optical signal on the fiber.

There are three separate signals imposed on the single fiber to your house. In for voice/data, Out for voice and data and In for the impressed TV RF signals.

Here is a link to a discussion of FiOS. Some of the info may be somewhat outdated but it is pretty much correct, for the most part, and should give you the basics. Scroll about 1/3 down the page to read about the fiber technology:
