Yeah, done that (just for the amusement value), though it was a 266MHz Pentium II. Apart from that, the specs were pretty much the same as yours. Once it had booted, it was surprisingly usable, at least for basic web browsing. Not fast by any standards, but it didn't suck as much as I expected, even with no 'tuning'.

It's ACTUAL mhz speed is 187 mhz. Although it has all things a pentium 2 has, it's performance was comparable to a pentium pro. To put it bluntly, the only way what I did can be topped is for someone to succed in putting Xp professional on a pentium 1.
