T1 pricing ??

With the current state of the economy does anyone foresee the prices on T1 coming down any more. I'm needing a T1 for my home and I found a package for 357.00 a month. The rep was a little hesitant to answer this question which led me to believe thay might since he wasn't wanting me to wait till January to sign the contract.

That's because the rep's job is to sign people up today, not in two months. Relative to pricing trends, there really are two markets for T1 services: inside or outside of certain carriers' footprints. If you're within those service areas, then you can get obscenely inexpensive internet T1s, sometimes less than $300/month. If you're outside their service areas, then you'll be at least $500/month. Most of what I'm selling these days is at $309/month with loop, port and router included for a 3 year term.

Interesting. Would you give me a quote if I email you my address?

you'll need to post the info in the correct forum for quote requests: »ISP b2b etc

be sure to list street address, first 6 digits of phone number (area code and exchange), list if commercial or residential address, and if you need the provider to supply the T1 router.
