 Oy, I despise AOHell

quote:
AOLTW continues to file additional requests for approval in an effort to sign up at least three nonaffiliated ISPs in each area it operates cable networks
In other words, they keep screwing around with people so they can keep the networks to themselves, pervert them horribly enough so that anyone else signing on to it will end up getting blamed for the bad service, and people will only see ANY decent measure of service on AOHell's crapwork.
quote:
a condition that the FTC placed on last year's merger.
You KNOW Steve Case will do everything to get out of this:•buy out the FTC•bribe people to not get on their networks (they wouldn't even NEED to bribe me if I was rep'ing an ISP)•And of course, that Legendary AOHell customer service!

AOHell will be the ruination of all cable/xDSL/broadband ISPs globally. they want to control all, yet don't even do enough quality work to even be considered a half-arsed job on any ONE facet of what they do. They make Microsoft's questionable business practices look like it was the only way they could keep a good product from going bad (and I can tell you right now, that as long as there is NO trace of AOL on a Windows system, you will have easily increased its stability by a very large factor).

"Thanks for calling AOHell Networks. May I help you?"
"I just got this new computer, and as soon as I ran your program, my hard drive exploded!"
"We're sorry, but your system sucks. Please buy a new computer."
"^%$#@ that, I'll get Linux on here."
"Congratulations, you have been chosen to try out AOHell Linux client version 17."
"What happened to the other 16?"
"You won't need 'em. We control the internet now..."
"AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!"
--
Everything AOL touches just plain sucks. End of Story!
