 Home security systems

Mods you can delete if you want. After about hr of looking and posting I remember the the name of the company.

A while back their was a thread on installing home alarms. Their was a post about this company had a system for $399.00 but I can not remember the name of the company it's not GE.

'There / Their'

As far as home alarms go, you DO get what you pay for. ADT and other large companies offer a fantastic starting down price but will nail you on monthly monitoring. Also...many of 'their' systems will not work if you do not have monitoring through that company.

Invest the $500-$1000 in a local, professionally installed alarm (with a basement control unit) and skip the door to door or large chain companies.

Might be Ingrid Home. Here's a review from Kiplingers on some options. It's one of them.
