| How Fast is the internet suppose to be?
okay i have blast and my average download is 1500KBPS. Now thats way below the advertised speed of 16mbps. So if i switched to the basic 6mbps speeds would my speed go down or stay the same? I am willing to give any infomation required to find this out. |

If forced to bet, then I doubt it would go down -- but I'm worried because it's so low that we really don't know what the problem is.
We have a tweak-tester here. Have you tried it?
Have you tried a variety of speed tests?

I think you are confusing Bytes and bits.
1500KBps = 12Mbps
Which on average is what could be expected. |
