Re: Test finds Internet Explorer is Worlds worst browser

How do you come to this conclusion that IE is the worst browser.

Here is what I got from the link you provided.

1. Only three Beta Browsers IE8, Mozila Firefox 3.1 & Google Chrome were tested.
2. 672 bugs were found. IE8 - 169 Bugs, Mozilla Firefox 3.1 - 207 Bugs, Google Chrome - 297 Bugs,

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------
quote from CEO of uTrust

"During this first Bug Battle, the uTest community discovered one bug every 15 minutes in the three leading browsers; the good news, however, is the fact that no ’showstopper’ security flaws were found."

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------------

The only thing that gave IE8 the poor rating was the 1300 users that participated in this research. I would say that IE8 is making improvements on security if it has less so called bugs than, Mozilla Firefox 3.1 and Google chrome. ??

This (2. 672 bugs were found. IE8 - 169 Bugs, Mozilla Firefox 3.1 - 207 Bugs, Google Chrome - 297 Bugs),alone tells me the op either didn't read what was at the link they posted or they are as i said trolling

Since no "showstopper security flaws" were found, the criteria must have been more about preferences between browsers, so does an article like this deserve space in a security forum?

Probably not. It's likely just somebody's reverse send-up, Matunga style... agnutam = matunga, reversed.
