I think most routers support MAC binding.

I'm used a Netopia 3346N DSL router that supports the feature. I find it very handy. Benefit of static IP allocation with convenience of DHCP.

Anything less expensive than the one you are using?
Looks to be about $150...

Bought mine used on eBay. They go for $30-40 there are several different flavors. If you go this route try to get a modem that supported ADSL2 and ADSL2+. That is newer versions of the spec and have several performance advantages. If DSLAM supports it connection will use ADSL2 if not will drop back to ADSL.
