said by eweazel :I have a Speedstream 5200 formally from bell, I mistakenly did a factory reset and now cant get into the interface. The IP address no longer works, is there anyone out there that knows how I can get back in?? The IP address should be 192.168.2.1 Are you able to ping that?
This also varies largely on firmware and the specific 5200 version you have. Do you have the "all black" or "black with gray" version (E242 vs. E240)?
You might also want to look at the SS5200 FAQ with the Bell firmware: »Bell Canada Internet FAQ -- Erik - Caneris - Internet solutions and more. |

As I said, there are various IPs it may be accessed, depending on the hardware and firmware...please refer to the FAQ link I posted, as it has all the info.
e.g. instead of 192.168.2.1 it may also be 10.0.0.1.
EDIT: also, did you notice you're typing in 198.161.2.1 in your post instead of 192.168.2.1? If you're trying that one, it won't work. -- Erik - Caneris - Internet solutions and more. |
