Los Angeles DNS on Covad/Cyberonic

I'm on a Covad line in Los Angeles through the reseller ISP Cyberonic. I've had problems today with the Coved supplied DNS (auto-set in the ppp process).

In particular, the Briteport 8120 modem/router shows tests to the primary DNS as failing.

Has anyone else been having these problems?
