said by Matt  :On the surface this sounds like a good, pro-consumer pick. Does anyone know where to find any more information about him? He is a lawyer & money guy and not really a technologist though he has been involved in the money & legal affairs of various technology companies.

From what I have read, he looks like he will be another captive of the Hollywood crowd and I would expect the main cause of high cable/sat/telco TV rates(content providers) will get a free ride at the FCC.
