Please note: Some AVs have both freeware and commercial versions, some have suites. These are not broken down separately. Please vote for the AV brand you use and then post which specific version or bundle you use. If you use an AV that is not listed above, please tell us about it.

Also, there are planned polls to come for Firewalls, Anti-Trojans, and Anti-Spyware after this one. Please be patient and wait for those to follow later

None. OS X is configured fairly safely out the box, so as long as you're behind a firewall, use Little Snitch, and use common sense you're safe.

Usin' KAV, but will switch over to NOD32 when the time comes, if at that time NOD32 is good.

Myself, None.

If I were to use one myself ... not sure? Avira (free) or NOD32? Perhaps give Norton 2009 a shot? McAfee Enterprise? Symantec AntiVirus?

On other's computers I install Avira AntiVir Personal (free).

Re: AntiVirus Poll 2009

This year, I switched from TrendMicro to Norton Internet Security 2009. I am VERY happy with the results. Nothing at all like the last few versions. They are back in prime form.

I voted 'other'.

Avast! Home on the non-business-use machines.

Zone Labs Security Suite on everything else.
