I haven't had the budget to get anything for ages, but the Micro SD card I got for $5.99 at newegg with free shipping is cool. I put it in the music player I was given for Christmas.

last three I purchased

latest: Slacker G1 8GB personal music player; downloads free, minimally ad supported music over wifi. A terrific replacement for my XM2go, sub for that being cancelled soon.

also: Sanyo VPC-E2 flash memory camcorder... and it's waterproof to 5 feet!

also: Oregon Scientific ATC-2K sports video recorder. It's old tech, but a good fit for the ziplining I just did over on Maui.
