 [Help] something is wrong with my connection

well, I'm supposed to have a 12 mb/s of download speed, and speed tests say that I have 12 mb/s of download speed, they also say that i have a 500~ kb/s upload speed, but, when i use a p2p program, or people connect to a HTTP server running from my own computer, download speed doesn't reach even 100 kb/s, and upload speed is always 70~ kb/s, but, when i download something with firefox, downloads speed up to 1 mb/s

Why such a low download and upload speed?

 because the server is taking the bandwith. you cant expect to have that 12mb if you have people visiting your server. Give you ISP a call and describe the problem. I'm sure they'll take care of it for you..........
