Somebody please help with some insight

As of yesterday, my internet is intermittent. Also it cuts out when i have 2 computers running and streaming video. I disconnected my splitter, which got me back online. And now without splitter all sudden this is going on. It has snowed here, and its melting (dont know if this has anything to do with it). About 3 months ago the cable company, came out and redug and placed new wiring from home to the drop (about 300 feet away)

Your power levels are nearly too high. Upstream power level should be between 30dB and 50dB and you want the downstream power -13dB and 13dB. You said the drop is 300 feet? Did they install an amplifier when they dug the new drop? How many splitters in the house and is the cable modem feeding off the first splitter that the main line coming in feeds?

Cablevision like the upstream to be between 30 and 55. Downstream they want to be between +10 and -10. However being outside these specs does not mean you will have a problem and being within these specs does not mean you wont have a problem.
