Do take heart though, my father amongst a number of other ills, had part of one lung removed from lung cancer, and that was 6 - 7 years ago now...and he is doing alright, not great, but not so bad either!
ptrowski, I know what you mean: I began folding somewhat as a tribute to my wife's late aunt, who passed away from cancer...5 years later, who knew? Now my wife is battling cancer (and doing just fine!)
