P-2602HWT-F3 firmware

Ive had a lots of problems with my P-2602HWT-F3 lately.. And i was thinking if there's any new firmware.
Current firmware: ZyNOS Firmware Version: V3.70(ASC.1) | 12/19/2008

And if there are. Where do i get the new? Since i cant find any on the official Zyxel website.

That is a special Telenor version, so there is no public firmware.

What kind of problems have you experienced with it?

I know its a special Telenor version. Ive contacted Telenor, but they say that they have nothing to do with the firmware.

Ive had problems with losing signal to the dsl line. And then i have to do a restart of the device. Usually does it once a day. Had no problems with that earlier. So i changed router. Didn't lose signal. At all.

It also wont port forward as it should.

There is no public firmware for that unit. The firmware you have is not a release firmware but rather a early beta and you should probably not have it in the first place.

If you contact me by email I might be able to help you. My email is : mr at zyxel dot no.

I have the same router, have i known that this is a crappy telenor version i would not ordered it. shit...

I experience unstable download speed, sometimes it getts up to 1mb/s, but usual its 20-50kb/s..

Is this some crap, or is it a ok router?

Why are the download speed so unstable? And why dont telenor make a better firmware..
Getting pissed..

Same as steff, lets hope he gets a new firmware that works better and will report back here.

Its not Telenor that creates the firmwares, that is ZyXEL.

What kind of connections are you guys using the device with?

I got mine connected to a cable modem with a 24/3 connection and doing iperf tests I get 90 mbps throughput with the device, but that is with a wired connection and not wireless.

I have telenor turbo. Adsl 2 16Mb/s down and 800Kb/s up (i think its called) According to the modem the line is 14Mbs and 804Kps, but that the line.
I use wireless now, and its some what unstable. The speed is unstable, and the signal strength is unstable. Even when the pc,ps3 is a few meters from the router.

Where can I download the firmware you show on the last post?

I just got telnet access to some devices, I do not have the firmwares available.

Have you tried contacting ZyXEL Norway? One representative posted his email address in this thread so people could get in touch with them.

I just got a FW from ZyXEL (just send an email to mr(at)zyxel.no) and have upgraded my device, but since I had no problems before, I do not expect to see any change.

What kind of error do you get when you try to do port forwarding and how do you exactly do it?

What do you mean by bridge is not included?

What about making a link, so we can download the firmware?

Hi! I have the ZyXEL p-2602hwt, but i can't find any specific instructions on how to forward a port for this router. I'm checking with the PFPortChecker by Portforward.com.

Does anyone know of any instructions for this router, please?

Thanks alot yourfriend! Is the firmware official, and do I need the firmware to forward ports correctly? And one more question; do I need a static ip adress to set up ports? Because I've tried everything, and I can't make on.
