| Wireless security cameras messing with wireless internet net
Hi, a wireless security camera system was recently set up close to my Belkin Wireless N+ router (about 4 feet) and now since then my wireless connection and internet has been sluggish as hell, like a 56k connection.
Now, there is a huge possibility that the system will stay where it is but I am wondering if anyone has been through this before and what can be done in the Belkin Wireless N+ router or security wireless properties to stop this behavior from happening?
A quick response and usable response would be most appreciated. |

Are you saying you installed a wireless security camera and are connecting it wirelessly to your N+ Router? And once you did this, other wireless connections to your router are slow? This is how I interpret your statements. 
If so, my only thought is that your wireless camera is "hogging" the wireless bandwidth - since the wireless bandwith is fixed and shared across all connected devices. The more active wireless devices you have concurrently transmitting/receiving to the N+, the slower each one will perform. Is there a connection to the camera going from some PC (displaying the camera image) when other wireless sessions seem slow?

| No. The security system has its own wireless routers for each wireless camera, in which the system I have has 2. They are in no way connected to each other. |

The first step in setting up your camera is to install the software that came with it. Then you will need to configure your software and computer so that they can interface with your camera. To do this you will connect your camera to your computer using a USB cable or an Ethernet network cable. After your system has been configured you can disconnect the cameras and set them up where you want them. The locations you can set up your cameras are going to be limited by the length of the cable or the transmission range for your wireless system.
To access your security videos all you have to do is access the web page that is created by the software to monitor your internet security camera. For security, you'll log into your account and select the camera that you want to monitor. From the web browser on your computer or mobile phone you will be able to tilt, pan and zoom your camera.
