I removed it.
After thinking some more I decided it fell into the category of a half-baked idea.

Don't you find it quite coincidental that you made that little app up there where we could simply say what we were doing and our buddies could read it and THEN Twitter was "invented"?

I liked it. I don't think it was half baked. Only you guys know the usage numbers to be able to make the decision to pull it.

I suppose if you have a better idea for the page real estate then I don't have strong feelings about its removal.

Hmmm ...
I think twitter was around for longer (3 years?), and so was "status" updates on facebook / myspace.

If the idea was half-baked, then leaving old entries on the profile page seems quarter-baked. May I suggest that they be removed.
