In most cases, my residential RR account has an IP starting with 69, but there have been occasions when cloning a MAC address (or just changing it in the router settings), it will pull a different IP starting with something other than 69.

Yeah.. thats why I am curious if Rochester Road Runner in NY allocates their IP address starting with 69.x.x.x; I would assume the answer would be yes.

Anyone?

Does Road Runner allocate IP address starting with 69.x.x.x to all residence in Rochester, NY?

Another question, when I host a website which I have access log; so every time a person visit to my website, it records their ip address, correct? So I tried doing this on my PC and it did indeed record my IP address. So I assume it records everyone's IP address for those who visited my website, correct?

Thanks!
