[help] dry loop dsl drops at night

i have AT&T Dry Loop DSL- the service works great during the day but at around 8pm to 7am every day it doesn't work. But all day long it works perfectly. What should I do? I know it could be related to EMF and I think it might be related to a light that comes on in the building every night. Should I get a filter? any recommendations welcome. I am going to radioshack tomorrow to start with putting ferrite cores on the telephone line, Should i put a ferrite core on the Ethernet cord too? Thanks

The Kitchen light, but it always happens at night. Which I think is related to the light in the hallway which is a regular light bulb. I call maintenance to evaluated light.

Careful putting ferrites on the phone line. If you put them on the line the modem's using, you could block part or all of the DSL signal along with the interference.

Well it seems to be working so much better...maintenance evaluated the light and fixed the wiring. I seems to be working so much better. I haven't had to use the ferrite cores yet...hope this helps someone else
