Speed is only 2.00Mbps can anyone help?

They said it should be at somewhere near 5Mbps but I have only 2.00Mbps and it is quiet slow and annoying compared to when I had another internet service provider. I just wanted to know where I go, or who I talk to to get it fixed to its normal speed. Anyone help?

Thanks in advance.

i can say that looking at your attenuation you are at least around 5 km from the nearest CO and it's pretty much the limit for DSl. BTW it's up to 5Mbps and speed always depends on the distance specially with DSL. You could ask them to raise you profil but i doubt that you'll be able to get more speed than that.

the SNR margin is still good...
so if they raise your profile, you should be able to get a little bit more speed... maybe 4mbps... but not full 5056/800 sync.

Also, make sure that all your phones are filtered and your modem is connected as close as possible to the demarcation point.

I received the user info to my IM.
I am verifying if the speed could be improved.
Thanks

That's good to hear. All my phones are properly filtered and my modem is connected very close. I hope it can be 4Mbps.
