| Best FM Transmitter (mp3 player to car radio)
I want to buy a very good FM Transmitter (mp3 player to car radio)
all that I have tried have given me poor sound quality
in part it's due to me being in NYC, very FM noisy place, so maybe it's impossible to achieve good reception?
so I'm looking for something that is not there?
but maybe someone can link me to some good product
from here »shop.ebay.com/FM%20Transmitter?_···r&_naf=1
or here »www.google.com/products?hl=en&lr···nsmitter
Thank you... |

1 edit | I have had good luck with Coby's CA-738, which is pictured here: »www.google.com/products/catalog?···-sellers
In Calgary, Alberta Canada, I was not aware of one frequency since I haven't listened to FM radio there in a while. However, tuning around, I was able to find a frequency with minimal interference from an adjacent station.
I hope you have good luck on finding a unit. This was just my suggestion. |

Well, a popular modulator with possibly the best sound quality is the c.crane fm transmitter available here: »www.ccrane.com/radios/fm-transmi···ter.aspx
There is information out there on how to increase the transmission range on this thing too. |

I've had good luck with an FM modulator. I use the one linked and had no problems driving from Louisiana to Cali. -- Member of the US Air Force since May 7th, 2002 To March 29th, 2005

| reply to inGearX Well I would agree the belkin one is junk, I have 2 good ones that were norwood FM digital transmitters that are excellent. Problem is they don't make them anymore.
So far a nice equivalent seems to be one that I got at wal-mart for about $10 and it's in the automotive section. has a switch and has a range of frequencies.
Like you I am frustrated at the FM transmitter lack of enthusiasm as well. -- If you have a topic in the direct forum please reply to it or a post of mine, I get a notification when you do this. Koetting Ford, Granite City, illinois... YOU'RE FIRED!!
