2 edits | AT&T (Cingular) Cell Site
power?? i think -- nothing was working | this was the *BIGGEST* cluster f*ck i've seen in a while | old - non-active cingular stuff | new active at&t stuff | power & batts |
Part #2... this is the AT&T/Cingular site -- sorry I didn't take more pictures -- i was [honestly] afriad I was going to be electrified by the hanging -48v everywhere and equipment which was out of service w/ tags that said "DO NOT TURN ON - RISK OF SHOCK!"
ha...
note: most of the equipment in this site was inactive... seems like AT&T now packages everything in nifty cabinets (like img #4) and is a turn-key cell site solution.

| reply to seanb Actually the wire mess ain't too bad. I've been on a few RF sites that would scare the hell out of most people.
When you need to weed your way through a coax pile like jungle vines, to get through the DOOR, there's some problems |

That entrance is a bit messy but not bad. At least it looks like they have permanent tags on the cables. I hate when people don't tag the wiring. |
