| [OC] How well do the i7 920's overclock?
I am hoping that by sometime this fall or early winter, I can build a new system, and if I can swing it, using an i7 920. How well does it overclock compared to the core 2 processors?

»Re: [Cooling] CoolerMaster V8 rocks!!!
This box is running now for weeks 24/7 without any problems. I saw guys pushing the chip to 4.3-4.4 GHz without breaking a sweat. I also saw some new D0 steppings of this i920 with another 10%-15 overclock.
Have a look here: »www.evga.com/forums/tt.asp?forumid=68 Not the cheapest mobo, but a very good overclocker with a i7. |

If we are talking about the D0 your looking at 4 GHZ on air. The C0 depends, maybe ~3.5 on air.
Which one you get is usually the luck of the draw. |
