Re: how to connect speed stream 5100a in indonesia?

Well, for starters, the VPI/VCI settings between the two locations are probably different. Does this unit auto-detect them? If it does, it's not working. If it doesn't you have to know the correct values and configure this manually.

The SBC 5100a (060-E141-A01) is pre-configured to only work with eight (8) most popular Virtual Circuit pairs (aka VPI/VCI pairs).

• 0/35
• 8/35
• 0/43
• 8/43
• 0/51
• 8/51
• 0/59
• 8/59

This is seen in the Web Interface only after you add the 5100's MAC ID to the ARP table entries.

Otherwise the Web Interface on a 5100 Bridge is not accessible with out the special ARP command as not all 5100 had a Web Interface that you could reach using »speedstream or not unless you manually add the IP of the 5100 Modem to your PCs ARP table entries.

Accessing the Web Management Interface on my SpeedStream 5100 or 5200
