How to Change my ISP?

Just moved from Verizon DSL to Verizon FIOS (whew!) and can't find where to change the ISP that shows up by my posts. Did a search and found someone asking a slightly different question but an answer mentioned a link on a home page that lets you set your ISP, but I can't find it. Anyone help?

You'll have to do a review for FiOS then both will show up with the most recent review at the top.

Thanks, Fourboxers, but both? Can understand why my reviews of VZ DSL would remain available for others to read, but why should it appear in my posting info on the left when I'm not on it?

It's been brought up several times for there to be a way for the previous ISP not to be shown but still available. Unfortunatley right now there's no way to do that and it takes two years of no updates on the review for it to fall off your member page.

You can of course update the DSL review to say you're no longer using them before doing the FiOS one but that's up to you.

Thanks fourboxers. Seems silly that all my posts will continue to show Verizon DSL as I merrily post in the FIOS forum , but so be it.

Will write a review of FIOS soon as I simmer down from what was a terrific install and horrific customer service.

It's a terrible system, which is the reason I don't have reviews in my "I See People" setup.

I've always had my ISP added in text that I entered (as you can see, it says "Verizon FiOS 6-12 install date", before last week it said Verizon DSL. I had a heckof a time figuring out where to change it last week and now I can't figure out where to change it again. Where is the setting?? I can tell you that it SHOULD be on the page where you update your location!

Thanks. Out of curiousity, why isn't there a link to that page under Forums section on the left menu? I see

You can get there from the Members link, it's just not a direct jump:

You know what the problem is, when I see a Members section I don't equate it with my local settings, I think it is a list of members. And you've got a Forums tab, why wouldn't Forum Settings be under it?

In any event, I solved my problem. Thanks.

I think there's a great solution to this -- Add an "Edit" link on "Your Page" that takes you to that stuff.

There's a forum preferences link at the bottom of every forum home page but I don't know how many people know it's there or take advantage of it.

Edit to add there's also a link at the top right of your favourites list if you're using that.

You're right, but I never noticed that. I even looked in the mini-toolbar and did not find it there.
