If you are renting the modem, take it in and swap it for a Surfboard 51xx series. | |

| Re: [cable] Upgrade SB4200 For Faster Speed? You are getting your bits and bytes confused. Your line is meant for 10 Megabits, or Mbits, or Mb. MB is Megabytes. 
However, slow speeds, which it sounds like can be caused by line problems. | |
