Re: [OOL] Optimum online ultra just installed.

Just got OOL Ultra installed. The techs were extremely helpful and they knew exactly what they were doing. These speeds are the average that I get. I pull 12.65 MB/s down with newsleecher on average.

Nice...is that direct or through a router/firewall?

That is through a ClarkConnect firewall, to my L2 netgear gig switch, to my desktop.

How is your connection? Two separate live drops? How was your installation ?

The install went well. They replaced some wires at the curb, as they have seen better days due to water damage. Then they reterminated all of my connections in the garage, gave me a new amp for my TVs and new splitters. The drop to my modem was left unchanged. I ran it a few years ago using quad shielded RG6. The drop from the curb comes into the garage, goes to a two-way splitter and then to the Cisco DPC3000. The other connection of the two-way splitter goes to the amp and then splitters until it hits the TVs.

108? That's higher than 101! Where is that guy that was saying even reaching 101 was theoretically impossible because of them "bonding only 3 channels instead of 4"?
