Cool thanks, looks like it is just me for now? No worries... Maybe after my 1 year anniversary in November I'll finally be over my hyper vigilance and finally rest easy knowing I'm not with my previous VoIp provider and service will not randomly break for no apparent reason. |

Sounds like an upgrape caught you. Nope Read what PhonePower said above again. They called me and explained that by default the HT-502 checks in and pulls a profile to see if anything has changed, which in my case did not at 5am yesterday.
Mine pulled the profile and for whatever reason did not reboot properly? Matt has been hard at work trying to duplicate the issue at PhonePower yesterday. They have the attitude if it could happen to others better to be proactive then reactive. As it stands now though it looks like it is isolated to my HT-502. I will update with more later.
UPDATE via email 5pm EST:
Javier will be calling you to explain the results of my findings. I have to run out to take care fo a few things around the office, but long story short, your device = broke. It either is failing to download the profile, or it will download it, and not reboot itself, as it should.
Considering it still worked reliably for the most part for a could 6 months it goes to show how resilient the HT-502 is.
Thanks Guys! |
