Paypal crashing Firefox

Running firefox version 3.0.10 and as of 7:25pm ET I am unable to use firefox with paypal.com.

As soon as I click the login button after entering my username and password, firefox crashes.. not sure what is causing the crash..

I'm pretty sure it's something with paypal since 1) no new apps or plugins or updates were added, 2) I tried a clean (no add-ins at all) Firefox 3.0.10 under Solaris SPARC and it crashes at the paypal login.. and 3) Same crash using a clean Firefox 3.0.10 on Windows 7 RC.

Anyone else having crashes like this?

The only other commonality is that all three instances above are using a 64 bit OS..

Yes. Happens to me quite a bit. Sends the report to Mozilla, etc. I have to reboot PC to get it to work.

Thinking its one of my add-ins/plug-ins but don't use paypal enough to bother tracking down which one. But it does send the information to Mozilla each time so you'd think it would get someone's attention.

Again yep. My experience as well. Works fine then out of the blue, Firefox or paypal loses their minds and I get the error report option and have to restart.

yes.. Its VERY annoying too.. I've reported this to paypal a few times now, with no visible results, yet.

I've not changed my FireFox install in quite a while (no new plugins, only version updates [crashed before latest ver as well]) and when ever you attempt to login, BAM crashes on the Verisign security page (for me)

It seems to happen randomly as well, crashing the browser only once in a while.
