I couldn't find the setting either. My little brother bought a wireless adapter for the xbox and it works now so I'm happy. I hope you guys get yours fixed. |

| reply to alpuppy The 3347 is a router, it will only confuse you to think of it as a modem.
In expert mode: Home > Configure > WAN > WAN IP Interface > Advanced WAN IP Interface And look at MRU mine is 1492
Here on DSLReports the 3347 is mostly discussed here:»Netopia/Cayman -- I tried to remain child-like, all I achieved was childish. |

| I just switched over to qwest and got a Motorola 3347. When I try to connect to xbox live with it it gives me an insufficient MTU error.
Your network doesn't have a sufficient MTU setting. Xbox LIVE requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364.
On your PC, go to your router configuration Web page and set the MTU to auto, or 1354 or higher. If that doesn't work, disconnect your console from the router and connect directly to the modem.
I've searched through the modems home page but can't find anywhere to change my MTU settings. And my xbox is connected directly to the modem, there's only the 3347, no other router or anything.
Any suggestions? |
