If Orlando can pull it off, then more power to them; else the Lakers will have another win.
Go Lakers! |

| reply to anwgo153 I think the difference maker in this series is Dwight Howard. If he can play like he did against the Cavs they are the better team. If he's in foul trouble and missing free throws then the Lakers will probably take it.
Also the Lakers need Odom and Gasol to step up. Just like Lebron and the Cavs, Kobe can't beat a whole team of this caliber for a series. One or two games maybe. Also, of course, if the Magic continues to shoot the 3's so well it will open up Howard to score a lot easier.
Should be a good series. |

| reply to KeepOnRockin said by KeepOnRockin : else the Lakers will have another win. Geez who would have thought that in a series between Orlando and LA, that if Orlando didnt pull it off that the Lakers would win.

Does that also mean that if the Lakers dont win that Orlando will? |

| reply to anwgo153 If Gasol, Bynum and Odom can keep pounding the ball inside and get Howard in foul trouble the Lakers will win this. The Cavs had no inside scoring except Lebron driving. Otherwise 4 quarters of Howard will be trouble and there will be plenty of open threes for the Magic. |

I think we should atleast wait and see if Orlando can make adjustments before a statement like yours is made. If Orlando doesn't make any adjustments, and game 2 has the same or worse results then feel free to rip them...............
edit:
Let's not forget that Orlando beat the Lakers twice during the regular season. |

| reply to anwgo153 Lakers are spotty most times, they will dump a game or two at least.
Orlando looked like crap, I doubt they will lay down for the rest of the games. I think they are the better team when they are on. But they were not on last night at all really. -- Graphic Disorder |

| reply to anwgo153 Lakers played Howard perfectly. Use the three bigs to pound the ball inside and rebound. Don't give Howard the same look on defense every time. Expose Rashad Lewis on defense; he can't defend the 4 position inside causing help defense to lead to easy passes.
Game 2 will be closer of course, the Magic won't miss so many three balls, but if the Lakers hustle on the boards and maintain the rebound advantage they have this in 5. |
