Fast internet slow service(no service)

We signed up 9/19/2000. Line failed twice.
Called them. Said they will call back. They did not call back.
Called them. Said they will call back. They did not call back.

...

Does that tell you the quality of there service or what. We are pissed and are thinking of making a trip to see them. Won't they be surprised. I have had better service from microsoft!
