1 edit | Cool. That looks pretty interesting. I know her friend is wanting to visit a few plantations. My Mom came down here about 3-4 years ago and we visited Oak Alley and Laura plantation. I liked both of those, but was wanting a few different ones this time since my Mom and I have already seen them.

We ended going to Rosedown. I was going back and forth between going to the Myrtles »www.myrtlesplantation.com/ because of the ghost stories and Rosedown on the way to ST Francisville. At the last moment I chose Rosedown. That was a very well done tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and the house had some interesting objects and history. Thanks for the suggestion. After seeing Rosedown we drove around St Francisville. We didn't have a lot of time to explore that day, but one day when I have some free time I plan on going back and checking out the area.
