Calls not hanging up properly

I have a problem with calls not hanging up properly. I have the innomedia ATA device from sunrocket.

This problem started recently. I call a number which has an automated voice response and then I hang up. When I call another number I keep getting that same voice prompt from the previous number. So, the calls are not hanging up properly. It's weird.

Does anyone know a fix for this? I would really really appreciate any help.

Do you have a trouble ticket open or have you tried contacting support yet? That behavior is not normal. If you haven't yet, please get in contact with the support team at 866-626-7150 or support@viatalk.com.

Whenever anyone calls me and hangs up, the call never terminates properly.

Usually if my answering machine picks up, even if the caller hangs up during the outgoing message, I'm guaranteed to get at least 5 to 10 seconds of nothing, or most of the time, I'll just get a fast busy signal.

Been like this for about 18 months.

This happened because at first my phones wouldnt ring correctly, so support said they upped the voltage out on my SIP adapter. I guess its too high now, but at least my phones ring correctly.

Trade one problem for another.

blacknoi try changing the CPC Duration to 1. See if that removes the busy with the answering machine.

Its located under regional tab.

I had a problem with my phones not ringing when I first got VT. The solution was not to raise the voltage but to change the waveform.

The ring voltage should not affect how long the line stays connected. That is determined by how fast the call tear down request takes to process.
