Remember... it is "speeds up to..."
So you may end up paying for 7Mb service and only see 2Mb speeds. check with some neighbors to see what their speeds actually are and go for a speed package close to what they see. Better to save the $20-50 per month.

the price for 3meg, 5 meg and 7 meg is the same.

If someone is signed up for the 7M package but only getting 2M, that would indicate a problem that would be pursued by Qwest.

As mentioned, the price is the same for 3M, 5M and 7M, but if someone isn't getting close to what they've signed up for, they'll try to fix problem causing it.
