| Stolen Antenna
Someone just stole my new 20 meter antenna. Since it is too tall to enter the parking deck at my work, I take if off and lay it on the side of the car with one end on the rear view mirror and the other on a support I installed near the trunk. I last put it there when I got back from lunch and when I leave to go home today, it is gone. Some ****** took it!
If this has happened to you, please tell me and let me know what you did. I live in a small town in New England so It's got to be somebody local. My first instinct was to contact law enforcement but I figured they wouldn't really care or make it a priority since there are bigger fish to fry (break-ins, theft, murder, etc.). What can I do. I'm about to go cruising looking for it but I doubt the thief would be dumb enough to display it so soon. |

| reply to HeighFrequency You should report it to the police. If there is a string of theft in the area the information would be helpful to them.
Don't bother looking around for it or expect to get it back. It was probably stolen for its scrap metal value and is now on its way to becoming a Toyota.

And next time when you're parked store the antenna INSIDE your car like I do. |
