I have one of my own and three that I support and have had zero problems with them. I also purchase the NBG334W kit, ie. the router and G-202 USB adapter, just before Christmas. I lucked out and got it for $20. Great device so far with no issues what so ever. I can even use the G-202 on my Ubuntu laptop without jumping through a lot of hoops to get drivers loaded, etc... -- "When all else fails, read the instructions..." Did you contact ZyXEL about getting the failed unit replaced? If not I would call them up.
