So they tried to deliver it yesterday, I was home, looked out window saw the lady actually scanned the package, threw it in back of car, filled out those "pick up at post office" slips and put it in mailbox.. So not only did she "fail to deliver it" she did not even TRY to deliver it to me, it would of taken her 5 seconds to run from road to front door. So now I have to drive 15min out of my way to get 3 movies.
Wasn't there a "re-deliver" option on the slip?

I would have had her re-deliver (or just plain deliver) those movies, just on principle. Especially since she might one day deliver a package I actually care about, and want right away.

There's no time like the present to lean on people a bit in order to get them to do what they get paid for. It's sad that it comes down to that sometimes, (I mean, the carrier gets paid for eight hours of work regardless) but it does.

And what makes you think she'll want to get off her butt the next day?

What makes you think the OP wouldn't have a webcam installed on the front porch the next day?

Can I be honest here?

I could forgive that carrier anything if only he did not insist on perpetuating the fashion atrocity of full-length blue/black socks with shorts.

(Neutral-colored ankle socks, people, ankle socks.)
